      As a secondary accelerator:

      0.1 to 0.3 % phr in NR and SBR

      0.5 to 2.0 phr in NBR

50% TMTD can be used as a primary or secondary accelerator in multiple blend accelerator systems with Thiazoles and Sulphenamides. It is also used as a vulcanising agent (sulphur donor) in many Sulphur cured elastomers.
